Refund policy
At Umalas, we are happy to offer an exchange or credit note only on full priced items, if the items meet the following conditions;
- The items are in original unworn, unwashed, unused condition with all tags attached.
- The items are returned within 14 days from when the items were received.
We do not exchange swimwear or hair accessories for hygiene reasons.
FINAL SALE ITEMS: We do not accept refunds, exchanges or credit notes on sale items, so please consider this carefully before proceeding with your purchase. These are final sale only.
We do not accept refunds on full priced items. We do not offer refunds on gift cards.
Return shipment costs are at buyers expense. Umalas is not liable for lost or damaged items returned by post to us. Please ensure your return item is traceable and insured. Please allow 3 working days for your exchange to be processed once we have received the return.
RETURN STEPS:
- Inform Umalas at hello@umalas.com.au of the exchange. We will get in touch as soon as possible to let you know if we have the alternative item in stock. If we have the alternative item in stock, we will proceed with the exchange.
- Umalas will send you a digital copy of our returns form. The customer is required to fill this out and include it with the items being returned. Umalas suggest using a traceable postal service with insurance, as Umalas will not be responsible for lost or damaged items.
- Once your product has arrived back to us, your item will be checked over within 3 working days of receiving the item. Once the item has been cleared the exchange will be processed. You will be emailed a confirmation once exchange has been completed.
Please note, If we are unsatisfied at the condition of the merchandise being exchanged, we reserve the right to deny the exchange. Umalas is not responsible for the shipment costs in returning the items to the customer.
FAULTY ITEMS: We carefully quality check each piece before it is sent out to you. It would be an extremely rare occurrence for there to be any kind of fault. If you believe there is to be a fault, please get in touch with us at hello@umalas.com.au and we will assist you. Umalas reserve the right to deny if we are unsatisfied with the fault query.
